FOREIGN DOCTORS VISIT AND PLEDGE DONATIONS TO HPM
The Encarnación Municipal Pediatric Hospital was visited by Dr. Bryan Henderson and his wife Anica Aragon, both USA citizens. These professionals were accompanied by the Mayor of Encarnacion, Luis Yd, and the Hospital CEO, Dr. Héctor Wagner. Dr. Henderson and his wife were offered a detailed tour of the medical facilities and were explained the growth problems and challenges that the Children’sHospital is currently experiencing.
The visitors consulted about the needs of the pediatric institution so that they can contribute some medical equipment, supplies, and resources for strengthening the hospital’s pediatric services.
“We are very grateful for the interest of these foreign citizens in supporting our Hospital. They informed us about the availability mainly in advanced imaging technology equipment; that will allow not only better patient care, but also much more efficient delivery of the care, "said Dr. Héctor Wagner.
Dr. Henderson promised HPME that once they returned to the USA, they would be making arrangements to send some donations that allow for the strengthening of the Hospital's services.
